Anil Godhwani www.linkedin.com/in/anilg I believe that health is the most important thing in life and is foundational to everything else including work, family and passions. I also believe that the best way to have lasting good health is by focusing on gradual lifestyle change by forming healthy habits. It's my goal to use behavior design to help as many people do this as possible.

I decided to form the habit of drinking 8+ glasses of water spread throughout the day. First I choose 2 prompts - drinking a glass of water right after brushing my teeth in the morning and again at night and did that for 30 days. Then I picked 5 more prompts by drinking a glass of water right after I sat down to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 snacks every day and did that for about 45 days. And finally I started carrying a 24 ozs (3 glasses) water bottle with me when I went to play ping pong every morning and drank it in between playing for 30 days. Took almost 4 months but have had this habit for the last 2 years now :)
