Self improvement and lifelong learning are the real habits, equally important as specific habits and goals. I've made some changes recently, around food, fitness, playing music, social interaction...and want to stick with those changes. And there are other changes on my agenda that are around community building - to do this wisely, not just via gritting my teeth and enforcing grim self-discipline.

I'm finally practicing piano again daily after a long hiatus - I stopped after I broke my hand in 2006.

Which (if any) relevant guest speaker(s) could you contact to speak at a future meetup with whom you already have a personal relationship?

I might imaginably get you a real Zen priest to talk about it. Or in another vein, I'm happy to present findings myself from an industry perspective.

Introduction

Hi, rather than focusing too much on changing the world, which I don't expect to do, I tend to focus on changing myself. Both are hard. Anyhow some people think changing the world starts with changing one's self - maybe I'm in that camp now.
