I am a co-founder in a company, Habitera. This company is based on our passion to help people "lose weight for the last time". As you might know, 95% of existing diets fail to keep the weight off over time... The weight lost tends to come back within 3 years, based on many studies. Our approach is to fundamentally change the way people approach weight loss through: 1) Education, based on cutting edge research 2) Instilling key habits that transform the individual's approach to food and create a healthy lifestyle. We have unique ways in which we leverage the latest in individual and group psychology, including using research from Stanford University and elsewhere, to achieve this goal.

I have given up and started MANY habits both in personal and professional life. I have worked in portfolio management for 18 years and have been very successful at it. For instance, one problem I had to work on was giving up soda several years ago. I cut my triggers, and ability, and I have been sofa free for 7 years.

While I realize that I do not have research experience in habit design, I have a Bachelors in psychology and Econ and a double Masters in Econ. I have practically applied habit design!
