Fair enough.

To conclude:
    - If the community feels like chatting, it's not spam.
    - If the community feels like showering the list with self-serving messages, it is spam.
    - If someone wants to share a hacker related video, it's not spam
    - If someone wants to share a place to rent office spam, it is spam.

People shouldn't feel hesitant to write this list if they've got hacker culture in mind.  Andrew and I are intentionally trying to create a community here.  Not just a mailing list.
