makerCamp is this coming weekend! It's come really quickly and things are looking really good for the weekend.
The hackerspace had a big clean up this last weekend.
The glass blowers will be on site in 'The Shed' and doing some demo's
The blacksmith's were pretty active this weekend and will be on site all day Saturday doing their craft.
We had some awesome multi-copters at the space on Tuesday. I saw a hexacopter that looked incredible and then the big brother came along - an octocopter with a payload of 32 kg's!
On the 3d printer front, there are a whole lot of 3d printers in the process of being constructed and there will be lots of discussion around that this weekend. From really small and portable to one that has a build volume close to 1 cubic meter!
So come along for some of the day or stay for the entire day.
The barbecque will be going for lunch and the finalists for the makeAnything competition will have their projects on display.
So looking forward to seeing you all there. It's a free event, so please share the message. The more the merrier.
Any questions, don't hesitate to send me a message!
