Introduction

I live in Brooklyn with my girlfriend, beagle, and guinea pigs. I work on DocumentCloud, an open-source repository of documents contributed by journalists and non-profits. DocumentCloud was a winner of the 2009 Knight News Challenge.

Are you a hack (content creator, writer, photographer, videographer, etc.), a hacker (engineer, developer, designer, etc.) or both?

I'm a hacker on NewsBlur: an RSS feed reader that lets you read and filter the original site. Witten with Django in Python. It works hard to figure out which stories you will want to read. You can play with NewsBlur at: http://www.newsblur.com

Are you looking for partners to collaborate on projects, and if so, what?

NewsBlur is open source, so anybody can contribute to it: http://github.com/samuelclay/newsblur/.
