Hi, I'm an eco-informatics designer. As a visual learner, much of what I learn about the world is through visualizations, and the rest if through creating them. I'm a big Hans Rosling fan. Can't wait to meet you all at this meeting!
Are you a hack (writer, content creator, etc.) or a hacker (engineer, coder, designer, etc.)?
I am currently in the role of Designer and Information Architect for climate science visualizations, through a collaboration with TERC. My company is informmotion.
Are you looking for partners to collaborate on projects, and if so, what?
Yes, I have a hurricane visualization that I'd like to continue to develop, and ideas for a number of phenology visualizations. I'm looking for an eco-informatics developers to collaborate with, as projects come up.
