Introduction
I'm a Free Software hacker (Debian, Miro Community, OpenHatch) who cares about the future of journalism. We're already in the future, so we might as well make it something good.
Are you a hack (writer, content creator, etc.) or a hacker (engineer, coder, designer, etc.)?
I am a hacker: Linux sysadmin, Python programming, competence at C, degrees in computer science and cognitive science. I also write, but not as a "journalist"; if anything, as a chronicler of the online communities I'm a part of.
Are you looking for partners to collaborate on projects, and if so, what?
Right now, I'm mostly looking to see what people are working on.

I just added myself to the women python meetup. is this okay? The Python meetup times have not been working for me. I noticed there is a limited number of people that can attend. And I don't want to take away place from someone else.
