By the way, "shotgun" refers to front passengers side seat on a car, and is taken from the guys who used to ride next to stagecoach drivers to protect passengers and shipments, and were often armed with shotguns. Kids (or maybe just old schoolers like me) will often "call shotgun" to get prime seating rights in the car. (WAY too much detail on a trivial idiomatic phrase!!!)

Yep, you have a seat. My cell # is [masked], and I will be driving a white chevy malibu maxx. I'll probably hang around for a bit afterwards, or if there are a bunch of people staying, I may stay longer. If you need to get back to Alewife sooner, either I'll take you, or we may find someone headed that way. I think its only 10-15 minutes away.

Seems like a couple people from Cambridge may be looking for rides. I can plan to pick you up between 10:15 & 10:30 am at the Alewife Station (say in the Summer Shack parking lot next door) if that works for you. I plan to make the same offer to a couple of other people. Let me know if that works for you, or if you already have a ride.
