I am a journalist and technology writer.

Are you a hack (writer, content creator, etc.) or a hacker (engineer, coder, designer, etc.)?

Journalist and editor.

Are you looking for partners to collaborate on projects, and if so, what?

I would like to participate in technology and journalism workshops.

Hi Firuzeh, I just saw your message about making up the last HTML/CSS class that you missed. Sorry I never caught that back when you wrote it in March - Meetup is not always the best with organizing notifications!

We're going to start another HTML/CSS session in the next month or so, and yes you're welcome to join us for any missed classes. : )

Hi Firuzeh - re: laptops: Yup, laptops are suggested (but not required). See you tonight!

Just posted a get-to-know each other event for Sunday, the 18th. I hope you can make it! :-)

Hi Firuzeh, very cool area of study! I'm in social psychology myself, and I think technical skills are important for today's academics, regardless of what we're studying.
