Introduction

Social media producer at @WSJ. Interested in social media, open data, journalism, and mobile news.

Are you a hack (content creator, writer, photographer, videographer, etc.), a hacker (engineer, developer, designer, etc.) or both?

Definitely more of a hack with a tiny bit of hacker in me.

Are you looking for partners to collaborate on projects, and if so, what?

I'm always looking for some good coders.

  • Hi Elana,

Hope you're well and don't mind me getting in touch.

But thought you might be interested in DigiScussion. The group is a community that will discuss the hottest issues and the latest trends in digital media, marketing & communications. A monthly meet up will take place in London where a few industry hotshots will debate the topical digital issue of the day.

The link is below if you'd like to join:

    Thanks,

  • You maybe interested in GlobalNet21 at http://www.meetup.com/21stCenturyNetw... where we discuss many social media issues and social change. GlobalNet21 was set up to discuss some of these great issues of our millennium and bring back the hope that we can do something about it. Journalism and the media is something we discuss often and are actively involved in citizen journalism

  • Hi Elana-

I read with interest your post at 10K Words about the BBC's IPhone app. I had looked into the Tieline Report-IT app a couple of months ago.

The WNYC link features an audio comparison. If the BBC app allows for both audio and video, that's different.

I actually was looking for a recent post of yours when I saw the BBC post.
Question: Any feedback about the Ebyline service? I'm thinking about trying it.
