I'm the Founder and President of NY Creative Interns, the largest Meetup for interns and recent grads in New York City. In the Fall of 2010 I took a class at Columbia, "Social Media for Journalists," and have been hooked on the topic ever since.

Are you a hack (content creator, writer, photographer, videographer, etc.), a hacker (engineer, developer, designer, etc.) or both?

Dear Emily, thank you. Unfortunately, I'm away that week and won't be able to attend. I did however want to ask if you are still looking for speakers, for this meetup or the next, because my company's COO, who's now a world expert on e-commerce but started out as a fashion student and later the first male buyer of women high fashion for Barney's NY ever, would be perfect for you and I could probably set it up. He has such vast and diverse experience and loves sharing it.
