Introduction
I am a PhD student in political science at New York University. I study terrorism and armed conflict; using tools from mathematics and computer science to gain a deeper understanding of these phenomena.

Academic hacker, so I do create content but mostly I am a hack :)

I would like to attend the meeting on R tonight but got put on the waiting list. Is it safe to come in from NJ or are my chances slim. I will be using spatial analysis with R on our grant and am interested in any new developments. Regards, Bob Yaffee
