As a follow-on to the Apache Hadoop Track at ApacheCon US, we'd wanted to provide a venue for the community to share more about what is going on with Hadoop. There were some good talks that didn't make the final schedule, and some great ideas that don't fit well with the conference format.

This meetup will be informal, co-located with ApacheCon, and anyone can offer to give a 10 minute talk about anything related to Hadoop. If you need more than 10 minutes, just ask - we'll see what we can do.

Please do RSVP - space is tight, but if we have a lot of interest, we'll work with the conference organizers to get more space. If it appears full, add yourself to the waitlist so we know you're interested. We'll work it out.
