Halloween 2008devilish! Hello Everyone: We have many events each year but none rival our annual Halloween extravaganza! Drawing a crowd of over 400 creatures of the night, it is a party not to be missed. Here's a taste of last year's party: Halloween 2007 Photos This year we will be joined by a number of other popular groups including, The New York Happy Hour Group, The New York Horror Movies Meetup Group and my Expat and TastingNYC.com groups. Others will be joining us as well so check back and see the guest list evolve... This event will include a costume contest with valuable prizes which I'll be listing soon! Contestant's fates will be determined by a coven of celebrity judges: **Tina Krause** A highly respected actress, director and producer, Tina has appeared in over sixty horror films including, "Witchouse 3: Demon Fire." In his article, "Femme Fatales" Mike Watt described Tina as, "One of the sexiest actresses in the B-movie industry." Check out her profile on The Internet Movie Data Base! http://www.imdb.com/n... **Baron Misuraca** Lead vocalist/ bassist of the popular rock band Vasaria. Here is what the critics have to say: "Brilliantly produced and masterminded..."
Myke Zone, EC Rocker "One of the BEST Goth bands in the world! AWESOME!"
Kirk Lindo, Vamperotica Baron has also been featured in the comics, "Blood Relations" and In "Flesh and Spirit" www.Vasaria.com As an added bonus, Baron, who is a master of many musical styles will treat us to several songs including his incomparable rendition of Tom Jones hit, "Thunderball." Never heard a vampire sing "My Way"? Don't miss it! **Susan Adriensen** Director, writer, producer of "Under the Raven's Wing" which has gained critical acclaim and has been accepted into the Dark Carnival Film Festival, Fright Night Film Festival, and the Full Moon Film FestivalAlso directed, wrote, and produced featurette, "Mavi Goz" ( www.blueeyedproductions.com ), and avant garde short, "Illusion of Reality." www.undertheravenswing.com www.myspace.com/tinkfromheaven The location for this event will be: 218 Bowery www.rbarnyc.com Review: These digs are absolutely rocking...The flashy-cashy vibe is definitely reminiscent of the glamorous 1980’s crossed with the edgy flavor of the Lower East Side. The stunning gold and black accents create high drama with oodles of leather and velvet running through the bar. The funky mix of hip-hop and classic rock music creates a rock star environment in a sprawling space- Clubplanet *D.J. Justin* of Foundation Audio will be on hand! Spinning all your favorites! Making this an annual event has made this a real destination; knowing that it was a full-out costume event, people really dressed up. Having celebrity scream queens as judges upped the ante even more. The group was festive the music not ear-splitting, the space large enough to accommodate a generous turnout. Really great party.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
