Christoph Burgmer: Writing your own Promise Library
Promises are a pattern for dealing with asynchrony. Not only do they help to structure your code without the need for excessive callbacks, but they are also able to manage multiple concurrent request for you. I will try to show the "magic" behind promises, or actually the simplicity that lies within 130 LOC.
