A silent film production company and cast make a difficult transition to sound.  (1952, 103 min.)

This is an outdoor movie screening.

Let's gather in Lauren's Garden on the Congress Street side of the park (look for the green tiara).

Admission is free.

This is an outdoor event.  Please dress accordingly.

We will be sitting in the chair section of the lawn so please bring a camping chair or blanket/beach towel to sit on.  We will be attending several city park events over the summer so if you do not own a camping chair, you may consider purchasing one.

Picnics are welcome.  No glass containers or outside alcoholic beverages, please.  (This is a city park policy ... no one will look.)

Downtown offers free metered street parking after 6:00pm on weekdays (do not park by the red ones).  There are some surface lots which have drop boxes (cash only in the exact amount), and some surface lots which have attendants (do not give money to an attendant unless they display a photo work badge).  Garage parking is available for a charge.

My thanks to Owen for letting me borrow his phone. The weather was beautiful. It would have been a great evening to watch a movie outside.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
