Picasso Black and White

Picasso Black and White, the first major exhibition to focus on the artist’s lifelong exploration of a black-and-white palette throughout his career, features paintings, sculptures, and works on paper from 1904 to 1970.

The exhibition offers new and striking insights into Pablo Picasso’s vision and working methods. The chronological presentation includes significant loans—many of which have not been exhibited or published before—drawn from museum, private, and public collections across Europe and the United States, including numerous works from the Picasso family.

Let's gather by the bench near the Gift Shop entrance inside the Beck Building (look for the green tiara).  There are several buildings associated with the museum.  Please be sure that you are in the Beck Building.

Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $17.00 for seniors 65+ (with id)/students (with id).  Audio tours are available for $5.00 each.  Special exhibit tickets provide general admission access.

MFAH Members receive complimentary admission based on level of membership as well as audio tours are $3.00.

Free parking is available in four surface lots north of the Law Building. Two are along Main Street: one at Bissonnet, one at Oakdale; and two are off Montrose Boulevard: one at the Glassell Studio School and one at the Glassell Junior School.

Garage parking is available for $6.00 with proof of museum admission. The entrance is on Binz, marked by a large, yellow arrow.
