The Museum Experience features one of the four walkable “zones” to help visitors navigate through the area and progressively learn more about all 19 museums which compose the Houston Museum District. On the last Saturday of January, April, July and September, one zone will showcase a handful of museums at a time, complete with special programming. The other museums in the District will be open even when their zone isn’t featured.

For those who would like to get together in the morning, I would suggest gathering at 10:30AM in the KFEC Education Center at the MFAH. This room is located on the underground level of the Law Building. It can be located by walking towards the men's restroom, continue straight until you hit the wall, and going through the doors to the right. There is usually an attendant who can confirm that you are in the right room.
Free parking is available in four surface lots north of the Law Building. Two are along Main Street: one at Bissonnet, one at Oakdale; and two are off Montrose Boulevard: one at the Glassell Studio School and one at the Glassell Junior School. Additional street parking is available throughout the Museum District.
MFAH garage parking is available for $6.00 with proof of museum admission. The entrance is on Binz, marked by a large, yellow arrow.
