The magnificent exhibition Portrait of Spain: Masterpieces from the Prado presents the opportunity to explore portraits in the MFAH collections. These portraits, often idealized and sometimes stylized, represent a diverse range, from ancient to modern and from Spain’s European neighbors to Africa and the Americas.
