June pub night

June's meetup will be at Chester's Beers of the World. They have hundreds of different beers from the different regions of the world. It is definitely an experience! Their food menu is limited to snacks, so I recommend eating before coming. The Sunday before is Open Streets, so we can discuss our successes/failures at this meetup. Should be fun!

I had planned to go, but the graduation ceremony at my high school lasted much longer than I expected.

Hey guys, I thought you would find this funny. There was a mistake involving my calendar and I ended up at Chester's exactly a day earlier than planned. Well, at least I met two people that are interested in the group! I think they might be there tomorrow. Also my mom is coming but she doesn't really use computers so she can't do the online invite thingy. :-) if I manage to accidentally meet other people, I will inform you guys and Diana. :-)

Have fun everyone! I have a client meeting and hence can't make it. Next time! Have an extra one for me!

I'll be there. Chesters has been selling beers of the world in Hamiton at this location for about thirty years. I recall going there in the eighties. More famous then for their suicide wings than their organic greens. But I'm good with that. Looking forward to great turnout after Sunday's successful event at Open Streets.

Doesn't have to be organic, just some food that I would not feel bad about would be nice :P

An important note about Chester's... As far as I know they are cash only. Their imported beers pretty much start at about $6 and go up from there. I think most of the beers fall somewhere between $7 and $15. Domestic are obviously on the cheaper side though.

Good that you mentioned that, otherwise I definitely would have not brought cash!

I'll be there. It's just a bus ride downtown! Hopefully they have some healthy food there, but I think that's hoping for too much :P

The food menu is pretty much your standard pub food, however the beer menu is about 15x longer than the food menu. :)

Seems about right haha. It looks like a neat place so I can't wait to see their beer menu. But let's hope I can at least get a salad...
