Doors Open Hamilton - 2014

The Doors Open Hamilton annual event this year is on May 3 and 4th. This is a great event and lets you access many areas that are normally not available to the public. Last year we did the event on the Saturday. We had a pretty good turn out of people. Some were not able to make the event on the Saturday and instead did their own walk around on the Sunday.

We meet up at Bayfront Park since you can park your vehicle there for free.

More details will be posted on the Doors Open Hamilton web site in April.

So sorry I missed this outting. I forgot my dog had a vet appointment for this morning, and couldn't attend after all.

Sorry for the late notice but I will not be able to make today's outing. I hope everyone has a great day.

It's about 3:30 in the morning and I just got home from Toronto so I doubt I will be awake enough to come into Hamilton that early.

Hello everyone....there are several new additions to the list of accessible buildings this year. Please remember that some of the buildings may not be open both days and may have limited opening hours. Check the web site for details. We will meet in the parking lot at Bayfront Park. I will be driving a burgundy Ford Edge. From there we will walk a route towards downtown. Please be in the parking lot by 9:30am. We will head out by 9:45am. Most of the sites will be open by 10am.

Make sure you have comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for whatever kind of weather we may face.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
