Work up an appetite on a ride before that big turkey dinner!
Distance: ~40 mi depending on chosen route.
Climbing: ~3500 ft
Pace: 18'ish on flats
Sweep: No, but we'll regroup at hill tops and key turns
Route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1921493
Riding rain or shine! If raining, please have a rear fender with good coverage so that the folks behind you don't get road spray'ed. If you need a good set of fenders that will work with race bikes (minimal clearance, no eyelets, etc.) the SKS RaceBlade Long fender works great. Most shops should be able to order it, but you should do that ASAP. All of my wet rides will require them.
Helmet required! Please bring snacks, water, money for a stop at Starbucks for coffee, stuff to fix a flat, etc. Please leave TT bikes, aero bars, and music players at home.
Rolling from the Fish Hatchery at 9:30 or my place in Rancho at 9 for an extra 17mi.
Hope to see you!
This was the 3rd edition of this particular ride. Fantastic turnout on an absolutely brilliant day. Thanks for coming out everyone. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Just about the perfect distance and the perfect pace. Add on top of that that the weather was beautiful, which made it an ideal way to spend my Thanksgiving morning. Thanks for leading us Joel, and thanks to all the other riders that came out today.
