Let's burn off some of those Thankgsiving Day calories and enjoy a fall morning in the Folsom area hills! We will meet at Karen's in Folsom and head out. This is a casual paced ride so that we get some exercise and also get to socialize. If interested, we can enjoy lunch at Karen's afterwards. :-)
Remember the usual stuff - water bottles, sunscreen, replacement tube, bike pump and money for additional water and snacks.
Here is our route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1923862 Cue sheets will be provided indicating rest stops/regroup points.
Terrain: Hills with low to moderate auto traffic
Distance: 32 miles
Speed: 12 - 13 on the flats; slower on the hills
Rider Level: Advanced Beginner riders (no hammers please!)
Sweep: Yes
This ride is geared towards advanced beginner riders who are continuing to work on their climbing skills. Graduates of the Summer Hill series will recognize many of these roads. We ride together to support each other. Rain or the high chance of rain cancels this ride. Decision will be made the night before the ride.
Any questions, please contact me.
Since I left my garmin at home I'm hoping somebody can tell me how much climbing we did?

The pace was just right. Felt good not having to try and "keep up" with anyone. Some fun rollers nothing to strenous. Good route.

Daphni kept the ride pace where she said it would be. I normally don't ride this slow, but it was a nice change of pace. Every one was great. Met some new faces (Sabrina and Marty to name a few.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning! It will be nice to have a casual ride and get a chance to visit and still have some hills to burn off all those calories from stuffing ourselves today! :-)
