Hi, I'm a bona-fide craft-a-holic. I'm primarily a knitter, but I also enjoy designing and making jewelry and chain maille. I also enjoy working with Polymer Clay, paper arts and cooking. As the assistant organizer, I host the Santa Clara meetups.

What kinds of crafts do you enjoy?

I'm really a knitter, but I've learned to branch out. I also crochet--when forced. I make jewelry and chain maille and also like to make paper. I've learned how to felt projects and how to make stuff from felt. I'm teaching myself how to sew miniature teddy bears, and want to make hats. So my craft experience is diverse and eclectic.

What kinds of crafts do you want to learn?

I'd really like to increase my paper skills and working with fabrics and paints.

Would you be willing to teach a craft to the group?

Loved the Jewelry Making Basics - Beginners 1 class on Saturday! Thanks for all of the great tips!

I am wait listed for the Dragon Scale class and wasn't sure if I should bother buying the materials for it? I saw that they need to be purchased online. I just wanted to make sure I am prepared in case a space opens up.

Please let me know if you think I'll be able to take the class and if I should bother buying the materials. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. I thought the beginning class would be a great opportunity to meet a bunch of people, see how classes are tought, etc... Once I've eased into the group I'll be happy to help teach.
