Are We There Yet? …the long, hilarious trip of the boomer generation

Are We There Yet? is a comedy journey with a California comedian through the past sixty years and the crossing into the next thirty – on the voyage of the baby boomer generation, from HiFi to WiFi, through hot pants to hot flashes, from the ERA to the AARP, from “Hell no, we won’t go!” to “Where the hell did my Ginkgo Biloba go?”

This is a comedy show for anyone born between 1946 and 1964 or who knows someone of this amazing generation. Boomers!… born to make a difference.

The mission of this comedy show is to remind my generation of what they’ve done and how they did it when their innovation and creativity and freedom of expression was everything. Who we were. Who we are. How we got here. Where we go now.

this sounds like fun. we are both pooped from too much going on, plus carl just had dental surgery and i had my neck shot up with trameel and starting pt again. so, please have a good laugh for us too! if things let up by tomorrow, maybe we'll change our mind back to yes, but not looking likely(:

After the show, we can go somewhere for an early bird dinner! Any suggestions of a good place to eat?

Dharma's isn't too far and it's nice for groups; all pay-when-you-order, so you don't have to hassle with dividing up the bill after. Or Betty Burger on 41st; same deal, great food. There is really nothing in Soquel. Down the street in Aptos is the taqueria next to Aptos Natural Foods...they are also great. Or Zameen, which is fun but maybe too confusing of a menu for a large group...that could take forever come to think of it. ;-)

Thank you, Claudine, for posting a link for tickets. There was no mention of purchasing a ticket or the cost, so it is very appreciated. According to the link, the tickets are $18, plus an extra $1.62 charge. I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to make it after all.
