Focusing on Happiness

I'm all for focusing on the positive and being happy despite some bumps and setbacks I encounter in life.

I would like to suggest an uplifting/fun activity for the next get together.  Portland has such great Summertime festivals.  Or one of Portland Parks and Recreation free concerts?  I would suggest something like that.

Comments?  Suggestions?

Hi Gil,

Now, YOU are the kind of people I look forward to meeting!!   Apparently, the fearless leader of this group has flown the coop.  He is a great writer, I dare say, though, eh?

Wow, "filthy" at the happiness planet -- this thread really does get more interesting with each new email!

Wel, I don't think people should be allowed to leave. Deny all such requests! Enforce happiness for the greater good! ;)

I'm Gillian, btw, and I've been out of town and didn't get this last email until late last night.  My schedule has been very erratic for the past few months, so I often won't know much in advance about when I'll be free. I'm most likely to RSVP a "maybe" than a yes, just in case. Anyway, I appreciate that someone is taking the initiative to plan a meeting even if I may not be able to attend. :)
