I had worked mainly in service sector like restaurant and hotel for over 5 years and faced many challenges. Although, customer engagement is particularly enriched by human interaction, the theory and practice how to motivate employees in order to enhance the quality of human interactions seems to be underestimated compared to other tangible facts such as profit. Throughout my experience to educate new employees, I strongly started to think that motivated employees are a key to long-term success. In addition to this, ethicality in business is also one of my central interest and employees' happiness is an important part of it. In terms of specific idea of my startup, I would like to create the platform to introduce Japanese craft man techniques, products and its aesthetics. As I do not have rich online business experience, I would like to learn more about it to turn my lightbulb into launch, combining all my thoughts !
I am doing MA Innovation Management at Central Saint Martins. My special interest is how to incorporate the theory and practice that motivate employees into the landscape of Service Design. This stems from my working experience in my country.
