What brings you here?

I've been wanting to start up a psychology practice/service for a while but something is holding me back. I think it might partly be because the classic clinical psychology model (disease model) is not how I see it working. I'd like it to be more community based, I'd like it to be accessible to all (which means not raising a salary some other way) and I'd like it to be heavily informed by positive psychology but have some fear about how it might be received.

I'm a Clinical Psychologist who loves getting involved in projects... probably too many. I've co-created a small family music festival, voluntarily organise a charity working in Sri Lanka, organise Sunday Assembly Brighton and now a book project...
