Designing for the New Web

Did you know you can easily create advanced magazine type layouts in many browsers?  And effects you'd expect only in tools like Photoshop, are starting to showing up as well.  The latest release of iOS7 Safari lets you do things never possible before. The creative possibilities are endless.  In this talk, Adobe evangelist Alan Greenblatt will be discussing many of the new Web standards whose implementations are starting to show up in familiar Web browsers.  We'll be discussing what these technologies are, the limitations of the Web that they address, and how you can easily work with these technologies using Creative Cloud tools such as Edge Reflow and Edge Animate to create exciting new content.

Alan Greenblatt is a Senior Creative Cloud Evangelist at Adobe where he focuses primarily on Web standards and Web and mobile application design and development. You can read Alan's blog at blattchat.com or follow him at @agreenblatt.

There will be food and prizes offered at this event. And, after the event we will continue the conversation at Tapas in Bloomfield. I hope to see you there.

Very informative presentation about the exciting new css capabilities coming up and Adobe's role in promoting browser progress. Great discussion afterwards at Tapas. Thanks to Alan for his info (and for the goodies!).
