The movie starts at 7:15 but meet in the lobby no later than 7:00. This is opening weekend so we strongly advise you to purchase your ticket in advance either on line or at the box office.

Cowboys & Aliens

A stranger with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The people of Absolution don't welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford). But Absolution is about to experience fear it can scarcely comprehend as the desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky. Now, the stranger they rejected is their only hope for salvation. As this gunslinger slowly starts to remember who he is and where he's been, he realizes he holds a secret that could give the town a fighting chance against the alien force.

Thanks for the update, Lynne! This looks like one of the movies I'd like well enough to buy the DVD when it comes out! Seems to have all the components I like!!

Nah Bev-movie reviews are fickle. Everyone has a differing opinion. I liked the movie, and for Sci Fi it did not disapoint.

The Theater changed the start time to 7 and 8 because the movie ran over their expected run time.

J Timothy's actually sounds like a great idea. I'm going to look into making reservations-and will update the board when it is done. It would be great to have everyone together for dinner before the movie.

My only suggestion is that we can break up into 2 or 3 groups and you may go to your restaurant of choice. Applebee's, Friendly's, and Starbucks are the many choices.

Tickets will probably go on sale a few weeks before showtime.
I would like to meet between 5 and 6 PM at Micky D's. Sat. July 30.

Normally I would not attend opening week to avoid crowds and confusion. I suggest buying your tickets in advance.
We may meet at 5pm at one of the local restaurants within the plaza.
