Greg Clayman serves as Publisher of The Daily which closed its doors late 2012. Formerly  Executive Vice President of Digital Distribution & Business Development for MTV Networks. In this role, Clayman manages digital business development across MTV Networks, working closely with its brands to develop new opportunities for distribution of digital content and to strike deals with online partners, as well as partnering with MTVN’s International division on global partnerships and distribution strategy. In addition, Clayman will continue to oversee the MTVN Mobile Media group, supporting the company’s brands in developing and distributing a wide portfolio of mobile content and applications.

Previously, Clayman served as Senior Vice President of Mobile Media for MTV Networks. Under his watch, MTVN forged successful partnerships with every major domestic wireless provider and MVNO, publishing more than 600 clips and 30 hours of video per month in the United States alone. Clayman continues to be responsible for mobile programming spanning every genre of entertainment and engaging nearly every demographic, including:
• Original made-for-mobile programs, including MTV’s popular “Sway’s Hip Hop Owner’s Manual”;
• Extensions from such television franchises as Nickelodeon’s “SpongeBob SquarePants” and Logo’s “Noah’s Arc”;
• Music video premieres and exclusive music performances from such franchises as VH1’s [masked] and CMT’s “Studio 330 Sessions” and
• The largest selection of stand-up comedy on mobile, made available by COMEDY CENTRAL.

Fueled by the company’s domestic wireless efforts, MTV Networks is now the largest provider of wireless video programming in the world with partnerships with more than 68 carriers across the globe.

Prior to joining MTVN, Clayman co-founded Upoc Networks and served as its Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Business Development. For UpocClayman raised more than $26 million in venture funding and the company is now one of the top wireless media, marketing and community providers in the US – servicing over one million consumers and a host of top mobile operators and consumer brands such as AOL, Sony Music, Sony Pictures, Universal, Mazda, Nestle, Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, UPN, and The WB.

Previously, Clayman served as Vice President of Brand Strategy at the Sterling Group in New York City. At Sterling, Clayman led brand strategy projects for a number of media, entertainment and retail companies including MTV Networks, Liberty Digital, and Levi's.

A recognized thought leader in digital media, Clayman earned recognition as a “who’s who” in the mobile industry by The Hollywood Reporter (April 2006). He is a member of CTIA’s Wireless Internet Caucus Leadership Council and Billboard’s Mobile Entertainment Live Advisory Board.
