Nicholas Chirls: Betaworks head of investments on what is hot

Nicholas Chirls: Betaworks head of investments

Nick manages seed investing for betaworks. Previously, he worked at HappyFunCorp, lived in China, and briefly traded commercial jet engines at Lehman Brothers.  Come see how an early stage fund who funds and builds looks at technology and investing.  Intimate gathering to get your questions answered.

Happy hour sponsored by MicroOffice to follow at 5pm :)

Friday speaker series brings key thought leaders, investors, executives in an intimate fireside chat format conversational approach to giving entrepreneurs access to trends, ideas, process within large organizations and better understand how things work.

Imagine you had a meeting with these angels and access to ask anything.  The audience is kept small to allow for that engagement. More hard to reach guys are brought each Friday for real conversations.  Come learn about what you can't "google" to stay updated on what the market wants and share a beer.

Nick did a great job of sharing in a casual and candid manner some of the investment strategies of Betaworks. Their formula for success is clearly working so any insight into their culture is valuable. Considering I came down from New Haven (with all the train issues) specifically for this event, it was well worth the trip! Thanks for sharing.

The opportunity to get insight from "The Company That's Buying Up All the Key Pieces of the Online-News Ecosystem"(The Atlantic), absolutely! Looking forward to to hear what Nick can share with us...
