Vinay Bassi is a senior corporate development executive with successful track record in Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Capital Raising and Finance with over 20 years of experience in Fortune 500 tech, private equity owned tech, Major investment bank and leading rating agency.
In his current role, he is responsible for Avaya’s global inorganic growth initiatives including acquisitions, divestitures and equity investments. Prior to joining Avaya, he worked in the investment banking division of Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup) in New York, where he was responsible for executing M&A and debt/equity financing. From 1995 to 2000, he worked as a rating analyst and later as head of Business Development at CRISIL, a premier credit rating agency in India and a subsidiary of Standard & Poor’s. Over the course of his career in corporate development, investment banking and credit rating, Vinay has earned a reputation for being a highly knowledgeable corporate finance professional, coverage expert and a trusted advisor to his clients.
