Introduction
My name is Anthony Jones, a New York native who is currently a small technology business owner and an entrepreneur who is hungry to get a new startup off the ground.
What do you think is the future of the internet?
The future of the internet I believe is going to be less about information as the focal point and instead reorganized around people. The internet will increasingly be used as a knowledge base where a "concierge" will identify, manage, curate and deliver (pulling) information based on a person/s actions revealing their common interests, experiences and wants. Services will be created that will increasingly match the wants and needs of "communities" of interent users who are virtually connected by their interests, likes and tastes i.e. taste graph. These communities will be able to refer to opinions and recommendations made by individuals with expertise and edify their choices within their virtual communities. They will be able to act as a group to increase influence. The internet will act as a platform for creating these "dynamic social flocks" that migrate across the interent but follow similiar patterns.
