Introduction

Gabe Garcia here. I was a military brat and grew up primarily in the Southeast and Southwest. I joined the Army after high school and spent a few years in HAWAII as a result- jealous? Received my degree from UNM and ended up in AZ not long after.

What part of town would you like to do events during the week and weekends?

Open to various places but prefer Scottsdale and Downtown Phoenix area. I'm partial to Arcadia as it's convenient as well.

How long have you lived in the Phoenix Area? Where did you live before that?

I've resided in North Central Phoenix since January 2010. Prior to that I was in Casa Grande, AZ (between Phoenix and Tucson) for three years.

February 8th.

What are your hobbies and interests? Please be specific (this helps planning events).

Costuming, karaoke, happy hours, hiking and dining.

Please tell us a little about yourself and why you joined our group?

I'm a GPS Utilities Technician for San Carlos Irrigation Project (power company in Pinal County) and maintain GIS-generated maps. I joined the group at the request of ladies from other mutual Meetup groups (who wouldn't?).
