Full Moon Hike: Makapu’u Point Lighthouse!

BE ON TIME!

PLEASE!

We will meet at 5 pm. Hike a moderate 2 miles. Stay there and watch the views, eat our snacks, chat, watch the sunset, take photos and enjoy the lovely full moon views and think about "LUCKY WE LIVE HAWAII", chat some more then we hike down in the dark

We (Zeus, Roxy and myself) really enjoyed the hike. I realize some were uncomfortable around "BIG" dogs, so I tried to keep our distance. Both dogs are non-aggressive and Zeus (great dane) is in training to be a service dog so I had no fear of him or Roxy being anything but sweet and lovable. We left and stopped by a little restaurant in Waimanalo called "Surf and Turf". I would recommend it if you are in the area and want a great lunch or dinner with plenty good food at a (cheap) deal. The combo of garlic shrimp and steak was delicious, but they cook it when you order so don't be in a hurry.

I would give rides, but my dogs take up the whole back seat and a friend is also coming with me so I really don't have the room this time. SORRY

I'll go if I can get a ride. Happy to pitch in for gas. By the way, doesn't this park close at 7? Sounds like they don't ticket, since you have done this before.
