Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge to Coyote Hills Regional Park, Fremont. This hike is easy to moderate (about) 6 miles hike. We will start from Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge located on the south end of the San Francisco Bay and along the Pacific Flyway, one of the major migratory routes for North American birds. We will take Apay Way to Bayview Trail where you will have scenic vistas of San Francisco Bay as well as glimpses of southern Alameda County. For those who need challenge may climb to the top of Red Hill to catch the breeze. We will stop at Coyote Hill Visitor Center for lunch. After lunch we will loop back to Apay Way and back to Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge.
Those wishing to drive to Don Edward Wildlife Refuge may do so; meet at 9:00 AM.
