HUG9: March HBase User Group at Mozilla
This HUG is kindly being sponsored and hosted by Mozilla in Mountain View. Pizza and soda will be provided.
For this HUG we will have fewer presentations to keep things shorter and allow for more networking and Q&A.

A note from our host, Daniel Einspanjer of Mozilla:
Mozilla wants to host this meeting to acquaint ourselves better with the local HBase community. We are using HBase and the Cloudera distribution of Hadoop in the rollout of a large project to enhance the scalability and feature set of our Socorro crash-reports service ( http://code.google.co... ).
Mozilla is located in downtown Mountain View ( http://www.mozilla.co... ). We will provide pizza and soda for the group. If you will be coming in late or going outside for smoke breaks, please have a cell phone handy to get buzzed into the building.

Thanks for the tips on parking, Daniel.
I'll be driving down from SF (lower haight area), if anyone wants a ride. I have room for 1 to 2 people. I'll warn you, though, that my car is a bit of a mess. I blame that on my 3 year old, my dog and my wife. Reply or email me directly if you want a ride. mslimotte at gmail dot com

Updated notes about location: There is limited street parking in front and visitor parking in the above ground garage behind the building. Public transportation or carpooling might be advised given the number of attendees. We will do our best to have people handy to open doors and lead you up stairs. If you can't get in, please call/SMS (603) 438-5731 or IM deinspanjer. We will be staying in the large media center on the 2nd floor. I'll put up signs pointing the way.
