Please join me on Sun. Oct. 6th from 12-3pm at the East Bay Healing Collective for an afternoon of restorative physical practice including guided breath and movement meditation to align with the energies of the Earth and ground into the 1st Chakra.
1st Chakra Workshop Sunday Oct. 6th 12-3pm
1840 Alcatraz Ave. Berkeley, CA 94703 - just a few blocks from Ashby BART
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so that we can begin promptly at 12 noon.
Suggested Donation $15-30 cash and checks will be accepted at the door
What to wear:
You will want to wear soft comfortable clothing that you can move in. I also recommend wearing layers so that you can adjust according to your body temperature.
What to bring:
We will be doing some movement work on the floor, so I recommend bringing your own blanket, and/or yoga mat to provide you with some padding.
I also encourage you to bring water and snacks for yourself as we will be together for 3 hours and you may like to have some light refreshments.
You are welcome to bring something for the altar that represents the energy of the 1st Chakra/whatever it is that you are bringing for healing that day.
I encourage you to bring a specific intention for healing with you that day as I find that it helps with integration to have a framework for the experience. If this is something you would like to share with the group, you will have the opportunity to do so in our opening circle.
You may also want to have a pen and journal with you to jot down notes about your experience or any of the information that I share during the workshop. I will be providing some basic art supplies in case people like to process visually.
I hope you had a chance to read through the information I sent regarding the 1st Chakra in preparation for the workshop. If not, please do so before coming so that you will have a framework for the practices you will be learning when we get together in person.
Looking forward to connecting with you in person soon. If you have any friends that will be joining you, please do let me know so that I know how many people to expect.
