Now Recruiting: Assistant Organizers!

First off, are you loving this rain or what? We still need it so badly, especially up in the North Bay area!
Second, I want to personally thank each and every one of you for being a part of this meetup group...we are now over 100 members strong with members located all around the Bay Area! To the newest members of the group - a BIG welcome! We're thrilled to have you join our group! And for those of you that I have yet to meet in person, I hope to meet you at a future meetup!
I must say, when I initially decided to organize this group, I envisioned having a meetup at least every other week. However, as the sole organizer and with my insane (and often unpredictable) work schedule, this "goal" has proven to be rather difficult. And with Earth Day coming up next month as well as an endless amount of other local community events scheduled throughout the bay area, I would like to extend an invitation to the members of this group to consider becoming an assistant organizer and helping plan more events for us all to participate in. Ideally, I'd like to see (at least) one assistant organizer for each region of the bay area...including SF proper, the North Bay, East Bay and South Bay areas!
If you're concerned about the time commitment - don't worry! All I ask is that you offer to help plan at least one meetup in your area. If you want to do more, great! If not, or, if you have a really great idea for just one meetup and you'd like to organize it, that's fine too! I welcome any and all offers to assist with planning meetups for our group!
