Susie's classes are informative, interesting and always lots of fun.  As part of the Food For Life: Diabetes Initiative, Susie is happy to announce she will begin presenting her new Diabetes Prevention Program: The power of food for Diabetes prevention and treatment  this spring.

With generous support from the Cocoa Beach Public Library and Healthy Planet of Brevard, Susie Fricker is delighted to bring valuable, life-saving nutrition information to the community.

On Saturday May 3rd, Susie will be offering this program as a FREE class at theCocoa Beach Library  from 1:00- 3:00 pm.

Diabetes is a major public health problem of epidemic proportions. Currently 11% percent of the U.S. adult population has diabetes

(up from 8% in 2007), and nearly 1/3 of those 65 and older have the disease.

Uncontrolled, diabetes can lead to complications from head to toe.

Research studies have demonstrated that a plant-based nutrition approach reduces the risk of diabetes and can greatly benefit those who have been diagnosed with the disease.

Please join Food for Life instructor, Susie Fricker in exploring how a diet rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes can help.

Susie did another fabulous class on Saturday. I was unable to attend because I was serving carrot dogs at Sunseed's Birthday bash, but the crowd all came to Sunseed afterwards and we're they ever inspired and excited! Thanks Susie.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
