Hart and Hunter ( the cool new talked about place in town)

This is the coolest , trendiest and most talked about new restaurant in town. Opened by the same peeps who brought you Wolf in sheeps clothing. Very trendy and food is amazing. Has great reviews. They dont take res normally, but they did for us. Also the corkage is $ 15 per, BUT theyll work with us and this should be a fun dining experience. Check the menu, looks yummy especially the hanger steak, venison carpacio, fried green tomatoes etc etc http://www.thehartandthehunter.com/menus.html . Wines should be med-high + , and looking at menu, I think burgs, cult cabs, rhones etc will work well.

if peeps are interested I did a detailed write-up on the chefs Kris and Brian, that I can post a link for...my link basically goes through both culinary resumes, how they met, and how they developed their culinary philosophies...

I write a column on examiner that profiles Los Angeles chefs. One of my early columns was on the chefs Kris and Brian at Hart and the Hunter. Here's the link to the first of the two parts. http://exm.nr/UyFNPH At the bottom of the first part, you can click through to the second part. Examiner as you'll see really stinks with all of its advertising, so I'll be launching my own website soon with a better format for food. I usually interview chefs for up to an hour for my profiles.
