Filipino whole pig lechon from Eva's Lechon

Eva's lechon makes the best pig in LA. We did a dinner they catered a couple years ago at lana's house. This time we will do it at Jake and elizabeths beautiful home in west LA. The pig is beyond awesome, skin like candy and the rest of the food they cater is all good too. Obviously we'll have them do Lumpias, adobos and other authentic yummy filipino eats. Maybe a parlay and have some chinese BBQ also like roast duck or goose etc. We are hedonists after all. As this is over 2 months away, we'll figure out wines and details etc as it gets a little closer. But trust me, this will be epic

    Does Eva's have the liver sauce for the lechon or do you need me to bring the bottled brand we Pinoys always use? Other good dishes you might wanna consider- Dinuguan (blood pudding), Calabasa, Arroz Caldo, Pancit, Mungo, Boneless Bangus. For dessert- Leche Flan, Bibingka, Halo Halo, assorted Puto, Ube or Mango ice cream

    Stopped by Eva's today and man, was I in pig heaven. Theyll do , besides the whole pig , some lumpias, kare kare, chicken adobo , menudo, noodles etc . Will be an epic night.
