Da Jeong for Korean comfy food ( 5 on yelp )

This place is new and next door to Feng Mao  Its where Mahn Duks used to be.We met the owner lady ( sarah Ahn) and she wants us to come sample her food. Wines ok , and tho $ 10 corkage, she'll cap at 40. So with 8 or 12 or more bottles, itll be nominal. Place was full and diners all suggested their famous pancake, and noodles and fried fish etc. Menu looked very home / comfort / style. And by late Nov, we'll be ready for such hearty fare. I know previous night is the 4 seasons dinner but its 2 completely different cuisines and at the 4 seasons, it will be light food anyway. More carousing and drinking than eating.Obviously syrahs, rhones, grenaches etc will work for this hearty food. 5 on yelp - http://www.yelp.com/biz/da-jeong-los-angeles  and also http://visitkoreatown.org/da-jeong-korean-restaurant/ .

Hawaii is part of the USA since 1959, unless you mean contiguous USA.

Owner / chef Sarah Ahn said she'll prepare an epic feast for us. She said, dont worry. We'll eat like never before
