So... as we discussed in re the last Carousel Hangout, if you don't let me know you're coming, I won't look for you, and if no one RSVPs, I simply may not go. You don't have to use the Meetup interface and if you're willing to run the risk, run the risk. All three of us and an uncle showed up at Osborne today.

Natasha and Chris were very enthusiastic about Upper 90 on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10 - 12. We're going to check it out.* i have an email in to them confirming that they're not running a special event. If they are, we'll fail over to the Korean War Veterans Plaza unless the day looks foul, in which case we'll hit the Brooklyn Library in Brooklyn Heights.

But, soccer should be fun! There's a little soccer pitch to run around on, and balls. That's pretty much a complete environment for Brooks. We'll drink coffee and make plans to watch the superbowl, or whatever grown-ups do. Anyway, I'm sure that part will come together on its own.

* Due to Brooks' YMCA swim class at Dodge, we can't make it before 11. It takes me a full half hour to get from the pool to the sidewalk, and today it took 42 minutes. While beside the point, I always find that interesting.
