answer:
Meetup doesn't charge individuals to create an account, join a Meetup Group, or attend Meetup events.
Instead, every Meetup Group Organizer is responsible for paying Organizer Dues to keep the Group up and running on Meetup.
Most Organizers treat this fee like a restaurant tab, sharing it with the Meetup Group members by setting membership dues or charging for individual Meetups.
There are three plans (all prices in USD):
- $12/month for 6 months (a single $72 charge)
- $15/month for 3 months (a single $45 charge)
- $19/month for the month-to-month billing option
Organizers can run up to 3 Meetup Groups under any of the above plans.
If you're unhappy for any reason, you can request a refund within 30 days of your initial payment. (Section 3.5 of our Terms of Service covers the refund policy. For more information please visit our
Terms of Service.)
Organizer dues automatically renew unless you cancel them.
You can end or cancel the renewal of your Organizer dues at any time.
