You can change the topics for your Meetup Group at any time.
To do that, select 'Group Tools' from your group's toolbar, followed by 'Group Settings' and then 'Topics.'
You can also click on 'Manage' just above those listed on your Meetup Group's home page.
On this Manage Topics page, you'll have the ability to add, remove, and reorder the topics for your Meetup Group. To add a topic, enter it into the field provided and select the appropriate topic from the drop-down menu by clicking on it.
Be sure to focus on adding Suggested Topics first, which have more established memberships lists.
If you are sure you want to create a new topic for your Group, choose the 'Create this topic' prompt instead.
To remove a topic, click on the red 'X' icon to the right of that topic. You can reorder them by clicking on a topic and dragging it up or down.
