Note: When sharing a Meetup event with a hidden address, the address will not be shown. If sharing a Meetup event within a private Meetup group, the shared link will direct to the Meetup group home page rather than the event page. Privacy settings will be honored. 

Find something that you think a friend will like? You can share Meetups using Facebook and Twitter.

Desktop Web

Facebook

- Head to the Meetup group homepage
- Click on the title of the Meetup you'd like to share
- On the Meetup page, click Tell a Friend beneath the Meetup title
- If you haven't already, you'll be prompted to enter your Facebook log-in information
- Type your friend's name and compose a message that will be sent to their Facebook inbox

If you'd rather share a Meetup publicly via Facebook post, copy the Meetup’s URL into a status update on your personal or business page.

Twitter

- Head to the Meetup group homepage
- Click on the title of the Meetup you'd like to share
- On the Meetup page, click Share beside the Twitter icon and compose your tweet
- If you have not added your Twitter log-in information, you'll be prompted to do so


Android App

- Head to the Meetup group homepage
- Scroll down to All Meetups from this group and select See all
- Select the Meetup you’d like to share
- Tap the Share icon in the upper right hand corner
- Choose the Facebook or Twitter app icon
- Compose your message or tweet and press Post
- If you haven't already, you'll be prompted to enter your Facebook or Twitter log-in information


iOS App

- Head to the Meetup group homepage
- Scroll down to Group Calendar and select See all
- Select the Meetup you’d like to share
- Tap the Share icon in the upper right hand corner
- Choose the Facebook or Twitter app icon
- Compose your message or tweet and press Post
- If you haven't already, you'll be prompted to enter your Facebook or Twitter log-in information
