It's always free to set up a Meetup account as a member, but all Meetup groups must be covered by an active organizer subscription plan.

There are currently two types of organizer subscription plans: Basic and Unlimited. Each organizer subscription allows organizers to run up to three Meetup groups at any given time.

Note: the Basic plan is not available to organizers who start their subscriptions through our iOS app.

The Basic organizer subscription plan allows organizers to have up to 3 other organizers on their leadership team and up to 50 members in their Meetup groups.

The Unlimited organizer subscription plan allows organizers to have an unlimited number of members on their leadership team, as well as an unlimited number of members in their Meetup groups.

We’ve always done everything we can to keep organizer subscription plans fair and affordable for organizers everywhere. Take a look at our current pricing options in your area.

To help cover their subscriptions, organizers have the options to collect ContributionsMember dues and/or Event fees.

If you've purchased a Meetup organizer subscription plan and change your mind about running a Meetup, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your initial payment.

For more information about our refund policy, please visit Section 3.5 of our Terms of Service.

If you started your organizer subscription plan via the iOS app, you’ll have to contact Apple support to request a refund.

Sign in with your Apple ID, select Meetup from the list and click Report a Problem. Select Problem is not listed here, and state that you would like to end your Meetup subscription and receive a refund.
